Tennis has taken over in term 3 as the sport that is most popular among all classes during break and lunch time.
The senior classes were given the task of making jelly and/or a dessert which used jelly as an ingredient. The wrote up the procedure they used to rustle up these delicious dishes at home. We have quite a few budding chefs in our midst! 🙂
We have achieved our Discover Science and Maths Award!!! Our Plaque of STEM Excellence will be sent to our school in June!!! Well to the staff, pupils and parents for all their hard work!!!

May and June are going to be very busy active months. The following will be taking place:
Be Active After School starts next Tuesday May 16th at 3.15.
Cycling continues today (May 10th) and next Wednesday May 17th for the Senior class (4 week programme with Noel Feely)
Soccer with Mary and Gareth continues on Monday at 1pm for both classes.
GAA with Margaret and Pauric continues on Friday mornings.
The Junior Room continued their Run a Mile with a Smile today. We will be back on the grass from next week on.

The Senior School Tour takes place on Thursday June 1st in Dublin. They will be doing the Skyline Tour of Croke Park and Awesome Walls.
Thanks to Katelyn for taking her collection of old coins into school! There were coins from France, Spain, the US and even Turkey. She also had old Irish pounds and pence to show us!

Our last day consisted of GAA with Gemma’s mum and cycling with Noel Feely from Roscommon Sports Partnership.
The children also got a chance to draw their favourite sport for the local Community Games Competition.
