Grandparent’s Day 2023

We celebrated Grandparent’s Day on 25th April with a beautiful prayer service celebrated by Fr. John. We were delighted to welcome over 30 grandparents on the day. We shared a special prayer for the grandparents who couldn’t be with us on the day and remembered especially the ones who have gone to heaven.

The children put on a wonderful display of songs, dance, poetry and music and it is fair to say the grandparents were thoroughly entertained. We finished off with a very welcome cup of tea and home baked snacks compliments of our very generous parents and grandparents.

Sincere thanks to all the grandparents who came to share in our celebration and remind the children how lucky they are to have (or have had) such wonderful people in their lives to love and support them. Huge thanks also to the parents who helped us out on the day and to all those who sent in tasty treats. As always, the school is sincerely grateful to Fr. John for his generosity of spirit in giving his time to help us with this celebration. Lastly to the wonderful staff and children of Threen School, you made this day very special indeed, thank you.

Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2022

Students and families were extremely generous gifting beautifully filled shoe-boxes for children less fortunate than themselves. Everyone made such a great effort and the children who receive the boxes will no doubt get great joy from them. Thanks to everyone who supported this appeal. Your support is really appreciated.

Buddy Reading

All the children came together this morning and participated in a session of Buddy Reading.

Everyone listened well and enjoyed they stories. It was a worthwhile activity and gave everyone an opportunity to work together.
