From Poly-tunnel to Plate- Our Homemade Pasta Sauce
We decided to harvest some of our Autumn produce and use our tomatoes, onions and herbs to create a home-made pasta sauce. Students from the senior room picked the tomatoes and onions, washed, chopped and cooked the ingredients, to create a lovely tasty and healthy pasta sauce for the class to taste and enjoy. Everyone from the class was involved in the meal preparation and serving. We created a delicious recipe using our home-grown produce.
