We had a visit from Fred the Party Professor on Monday the 4th of April 2022. He surprised us all with lots of wonderful tricks which made us all giggle and laugh. Another fun time in Threen N.S.
Students and teachers wore odd socks as a way to show that all feelings are ok and as a way to show we are all different. It is absolutely fine to have different feelings at different times in our lives.
Well done to Aisling, Rebecca, John and James who received Sacrament of Reconciliation recently. They learned all about the story of Zacchaeus and forgiveness and becoming Jesus’ friend. Thank you to Fr John, the parents and Mrs. Collins for helping to prepare the children.
Thank you to all the families who donated money for the Irish Red Cross Appeal for Ukraine. We raised 314 euro.
Well, the children blew us away today. They made huge efforts to portray some wonderful storybook characters. There is nothing better than to see children who love to read and who love to be read to. Thanks to all of you who put a lot of work into helping the children celebrate world book day in Threen N.S. and who instil a love of books by reading to your children and encouraging them to read.
Well done to our winners for the best costume: Junior Room – Matthew and Senior Room – Averie .
Well done to all our students who have been fantastic at following all the school rules and Covid 19 guidelines , including the children in 3rd-6th class wearing masks in school. It is not easy. We have been taking added mask free breaks outdoors and the children have been adhering to all guidelines.

All the students have been engaging with online activities and zoom sessions in recent weeks. The zoom sing-a-long and wellbeing check-in were valuable, fun and worthwhile.
