Children in the Senior Room created posters to highlight some of the issues we have been learning about in Climate Change. We integrated this work into lots of different subjects including English, Art, Drama, Geography, Science and SPHE.
Well done to Daniel, Aaron, Eva, Emilia and Averie who made their First Confession today in Trien Church. Thanks to Fr John and the parents who helped us celebrate this very special occasion.
Students did a Spring/ Summer clean up of our school grounds and garden area. They collected any rubbish and also gathered weeds and got the garden ready for Summer. We noticed some lovely new growth in the garden also.
The children have been busy adding decorations to the fairy garden and painting some pots and furniture also to make the garden look even prettier than it already is.
This week students were learning about Native Irish trees. We also examined trees in our school grounds, and sketched them and painted trees for our art lesson.
Well done to all our students who are learning at home again this term. Thanks to all the parents who are supporting the students and for all the engagement in the online, written and active learning activities.

Students all attended a Christmas Prayer Service in Trien Church on Friday 18th December. Thanks to Fr John, who celebrated the prayer service with us, and to the children who read prayers and poems during the service.
During science week we participated in lots of fun experiments. The volcano experiment involved mixing bread soda and vinegar among other fun ingredients to make an explosion of pink goo.
